Hi a friend of mine has a 2005 c class coupe the rear tyres have mo on them which apparently stands for mercedes only hes been told you can only use these at £170 each is this correct many thanks
The MO designation simply means that Mercedes regard this particular tyre as being well adapted to the suspension characteristics of their cars - but you'd be very hard pressed to tell the difference driving MO or any other tyre.
As television says, you are free to fit tyres from any manufacturer you prefer, obviously of the correct size and of the right speed rating for the car. You will find endless info on the internet and in the press on which tyres best suit a particular vehicle, but it is really just a matter of personal preference.
