Hi there,
bought my pride and joy 5 months ago - black CLK 270, automatic diesel, 70k miles.
4 weeks ago it broke Mercedes garage took it in and found the turbo had broke. They stripped the engine replace the turbo and a few other bits, and found the conrods had been bent from the pressure of the broken turbo sucking oil up through the engine. It took 4 weeks to fix. Went this evening to pick it up, just as the garage was closing, didnt get 100ft from the gates of the garage when the ESP (traction control) warning light started flashing when I turned right. I didnt speed at all, max 30 mile as hour, after 4 mile journey the light stopped flickering, came on permanently with a message 'traction control deficiencies go to garage immediately' - I tell you I feel like crying. I'm going back t the garage in the morning and feel like saying give me all my money back or replace the car with the same type.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated,
Yours in motoring,
DG
