Help.. Rattling From Auxilary Belt Area

I HAVE A RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM MY AUXILARY BELT AREA, IVE CHECKED THE TENSIONER, AND THE BELT IS TIGHT, THE ALTENATOR SEEMS FINE, IVE NEVER HAVE ANY PROBS STARTING HER,

I SPRAYED A BIT OF WD40 BUT IM AFRAID TO SPRAY ANY ON THE BELT INCASE THE BELT SLIPS OFF...

HAS ANYONE ANY IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE??, IS IT SERIOUS ??

ive booked it in for the morning, its either the bearings gone in tensioner or the pully beside it, hopefully sorted by tomarrow evening..

got her bk it was the tensioner, all sorted,

BUT when i got her bk she kept cutting out when i stopped at roundabouts/junctions, i took her for a blast up and down the duel carraige way and she seems to be ok now.. think it must have been just settling in...

Yes the tensioner is a common problem, if they disconnected the battery, that could have caused the blip in running
