Help.. Rattling From Auxilary Belt Area

I HAVE A RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM MY AUXILARY BELT AREA, IVE CHECKED THE TENSIONER, AND THE BELT IS TIGHT, THE ALTENATOR SEEMS FINE, IVE NEVER HAVE ANY PROBS STARTING HER, :confused:

I SPRAYED A BIT OF WD40 BUT IM AFRAID TO SPRAY ANY ON THE BELT INCASE THE BELT SLIPS OFF...

HAS ANYONE ANY IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE??, IS IT SERIOUS ?? :confused::confused:

ive booked it in for the morning, its either the bearings gone in tensioner or the pully beside it, hopefully sorted by tomarrow evening..:D

got her bk it was the tensioner, all sorted,:D

BUT when i got her bk she kept cutting out when i stopped at roundabouts/junctions, i took her for a blast up and down the duel carraige way and she seems to be ok now.. think it must have been just settling in...:confused:

Yes the tensioner is a common problem, if they disconnected the battery, that could have caused the blip in running
