Help request | Nav Compass heading just spins

First post here and hope someone can help or point me in any other direction than a dealer....

W204 C-class.
Recently as soon as I drive off, the navigation map just spins around the location pointer, or at least never holds a steady heading.
When stationary the nav map is static
The location is either spot on or ~30 meters out..
This doesn't seem to be a common problem as I cant find a single reference on google.
I'll try to upload a video over the weekend.
Everything else seems to work fine.

In the meantime I've tried :
1. Removed the battery for an hour to see if the Nav would reset.
2. Exported data > reset the Nav > Imported data...

Any pointers would be really appreciated.

Sounds like an option on the maps. From memory they can be set heading up or north up. Sounds like yours is set heading up.

Hi LostKiwi, really appreciate the msg and I know what you mean, but its like compass is spinning like a roulette wheel. So if I make the map head North as you say, it becomes more usable, but the triangle that points to you position spins around the centre.

Just thinking, does anyone know where the GPS/Compass ariel is, I am wondering if its a physical antenna thing?
