I realise this is a predominantly UK site, but i have a problem that perhaps some of you can help with. I have an 1982 SL 500 (or 500 SL I can never remember which it is). The exhaust system is sot to hell, the problem is I live in Spain and have been to merc dealers here and they are as helpful as putting your head in a hot oven. I need to find an exhaust system - prefer Stainless steel depending on price difference as I intend to keep the car (have had it 8 years till now)
But I cannot find anyone who does them here and have searched online and the only ones that come up are in USA. Does anyone know of a good supplier that can provide a complete exhaust from manifold to downpipe? Doesnt mater if they are UK based as I have a friend who goes once a month with his transit van to the UK so it can be picked up.
Also anyone know of any decent after market hood specialists, and where I can get rubber seals from
