I've spent ages checking different sources for information and nothing seems to align with what I have on the car.
I just replaced air springs and compressor. The compressor came with new relay, but I can't work out where it goes.

WIS says R location for the relay but that's empty, other posts say its the loose one at the back but the connections are different.

Can anyone confirm please, car is all ready to be fired up and I'm stuck.

Its the grey one that came with the compressor. 20210415_143553.jpg

Hi,
On my CLS55 2006 MY (same electrics as a 211), the Airmatic relay was located in the relay base clipped to the SAM Unit at the back where yours has the empty relay base.
Have you full Airmatic front and rear or just self levelling Air suspension on the rear?

Thanks, self levelling only. I just found this while waiting for a haircut, pretty sure it's cleared up the confusion.

Need to snap off the white retaing clips is my only concern.

The white retaining clip locates in the lug on the side of the relay, the new relay I take it is slightly larger fouling the white retaining clip?

Snapped the lugs off and fitted the four pin. Battery on, compressor kicked in and then slowly let the car off the jack. Car is now happily up off the floor overnight. Not level at the back yet but a step in the right direction.
