My Stepdad's just got a 2004 CLK 320 (Bloomin' lovely!!)
Going through the Bluetooth menu, we've managed to pair his phone to the system (and my N95 in case his phone was struggling) and the system says the phone is paired, but the word 'connected' changes to 'not connected' after a few seconds and calls to the phone do not get routed to the car no matter what we try. (Even while still showing 'connected').
The integrated nav system has phone buttons, but all of them say 'insert phone' when pressed. So I'm guessing a particular phone-specific cradle has to be purchased to fit his particular phone, and plugged in to the funny plug in the arm rest compartment?
Surely when a phone is paired, the phone controls on the car should control the bluetooth phone, including its phonebook etc yes? Surely the bluetooth setup isn't just for bt audio devices??!?!??
