Help - towing with an ML

Does anyone have any suggestions apart from set fire to my ML ??
I am supposed to catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight tomorrow and to tow my boat down there.
I have a year old ML with the factory fitted extra tow bar, only I have just noticed as this is my first time towing with it, the electrics have 13 or so pins, but my trailerboard only has 7 or so what do I do ??

You may be able to buy an adapter at a local caravan dealer , failing that bodge a new lighting board one they are only about £20 and you can sort it out properly when you get back

13 pin to 7 pin adapter

I had exactly the same problem. Tried to hitch up and realised that my towbar electrics are the European 13-pin kind.
Halfords sell a 13 pin to 7 pin adapter for about £15
