Help - windscreen wipers wont turn off

My wipers wont turn off - only when the ignition is off. Any ideas? The fast speed on the wipers still works, but the intermitant and off positions still function at the normal speed. Its a '95 w124. Thanks

its most likely either the wiper switch mechanism seized/shorted or the wiper relay

check both, the switch cap cover pops off to reveal the insides but do it in daylight and watch for popping springs

you can remove it with a thin straight small screwdriver (flat head)

be gentle !

I have the same problem! Did you find a fix? and if so, what was it.

It's too dark to go playing with the switch cap right now and I thought you might be able to point me in the right direction.
