help with 107 sl snapped belt

need some advice
bear with me im not very good on engine jargon i can just about fill my car up with petrol
i was parking my sl and noticed a rubber belt under the front bumper that had snapped.i did drive it home and then checked the engine bay and noticed that the belt to the lower right hand side is missing.can anyone tell me what this is and can i still drive it (to my local specialist for whats probably a large bill)it is a 1989 500sl any help would be much appreciated.

Depending on engine it would ne a nono to drive too far. It drives ancillaries and water pump.

it's also a good old-fashioned

v-belt. They stock them at gsf and ecp if the dealers don't have one. It would be a good idea to change the other belts as well at the same time, and carry a spare of each. You can throw a belt at any time. I've had them last 100,000 miles, and conversely, I've had them go in the time it takes to drive around the block, figuratively speaking.

They are different lengths, one for the waterpump and fan, and the other goes over to the power steering I think.

The belt isn't a serpentine belt, its a V Belt as Myros states.

The lower right one does the air conditioning, so you can still use the car sans AC.
You would have noticed if it was the water pump belt, as this also does the power steering. The third belt drives the alternator, on the top left.
