What kind of trickery is this?!
;)

Hi George, and welcome to the forum.

There are in fact four different A-Class models, plus facelift variations (not normally affecting seat shape/type).

Yours (and mine) are a second generation, and also share many parts (seats included) with a B-Class W245 (2005-2011).

W168 (first generation) and W176 / W177 (third and fourth) seats are very different from each other and 169/245, although the latter two (176/177) might be the same - I'm absolutely clueless on the new shape A-Class (2012 onwards).

So, you need covers for either A-Class 2004-2012, or B-Class 2005-2011 to fit your seats.
Of course the exact model designation is always the best, i.e. W169 or W245, but as you said, many eBay sellers never mention it.
