Hi everyone,

Only just joined (don't ask me why - my last 5 cars have all been Mercs!). Graduated to the R231 SL at the end of last year, and absolutely in love with it. Beautiful in Cavansite Blue, with the Porcelain Leather & Black Ash interior. 22,000 on the clock. Options galore: AMG Sport pack, Harman Kardon, Analog Clock, Airscarf, Electric Draught Stop, Pano Roof, etc...



Can't wait for the weather to improve, so I can get the roof down...

Thanks for the warm welcome, and the kind words about the SL. It’s a beautiful colour combination, and such a step up from the R172 SLK (as you’d expect!).

I’ve loved all my previous Mercs, but this is the first car I’ve owned in many years that I just want to go out for a drive in.

Yes, I thought that was a bit weird, but he can't sell the SL again! The SLK is off Autotrader, so I'm assuming that's sold too...
