hope i'm in the right section for newbies, i am 65 years old so not very computer tech savvy any way i'll take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Chris Haze and i'me on my second merc the first one was a old 207 van I did over 150000 miles in that the most reliable van I've ever owned. Now my wife and me own a 2001 SLK 230 that i purchased for £1000 last October and have been using it as a running restoration, as now its our only transport. It had the usual tin worm that I've been trying to tackle over the past year . I Wasn't much interested in roadsters before we got the slk. But my wife has always loved them mainly mg's her last one was a mgtf that i had to work on and maintain for the last 8 years and was often a real pain to work on , but thankfully she liked the look of the slk and i like the engineering of the car and we both like the driving experience I will post some pictures of the slk soon and hope to gain and contribute some valuable tips and information from the members cheers Chris
