Hi to everyone.

I am now the proud owner of a '94 E220 coupe, 80000 miles, full MB history, and a stunning car.

I have a couple of questions if I may;

1. How do I replace the bulb in the dash for the drivers side heater and blower selector control?

2. Should both seat belt arms extend when the ignition is on, or just if the respective seat is being used?

Many thanks for any replies

Pete

Hello Pete and welcome, pull the knob off using a cloth and a pair of pliers and the bulb is behind it

Can't remember perfectly or not, but I seem to remember these having seat recognition pads fitted. If it has the passenger airbag it will have seat recognition pads fitted.

Not sure if it was model dependant or not.

Have you stuck your VIN in to the checker and see what the standard spec was on your vehicle?

With the bulbs follow the advice given by Television, however I would fit an LED instead of a bulb, my old E Class (210) used to eat bulbs faster than I could fit them.

Belt presenters work just on open/shutting the door. No seat pad recognition.
