recently joined the MB gang - bought a 56 plate CLS350 for £27,500 (24,000 miles) - from a London dealer (reg. Oct 06)

+ all the usual luxuries
Having driven BMWs, Audi's, this is my first Merc and have to say what a car / ride - so refined, yet pacy.
Getting 27mpg (not bad for a 3.5 litre beast). Toyed with the idea of the 320CDI, but given I only do 10,000 miles p.a, and the cost of diesel... unlikley to gain any material economic benefit (plus driving a petrol!). Does present higher risk in terms of residuals, but have done a 2 year PCP (very good APR% for a dealer) - so whilst costing me a bit, at least I have some peace of mind if the bottom drops out of the market re large petrols....
All in all, delighted to be a MB owner!!
