Hi, Looking for any info to help me cure my ACCELERATOR / THROTTLE / STICKING ? and CABLE Advise. An image of the correct accelerator cable would be very helpful as I think previous owner has used cable from w124..

I'm assuming you've tried lubricating the linkages and cable and that carpet isn't causing it to get caught?

Appreciate the welcomes, … anyone have a part number for throttle cable Mercedes 280ce 1979.. the one I just purchased, fully adjusted is 1-1/2 too short. or if anyone knows why they would differ on a w123 / w124. any advise, greatly appreciated.

yep... done the simple stuff, happy to buy new cable.. but having problems getting correct part number
