Hi w203 c180 coupe owner need help

Hi I'm kizza from Canberra and I finally bought the car I've wanted since 20yo a 2001 c180 coupe pretty sure it's a w203, it's not supercharged or my dream amg but it is the shape I love in mint condition, black leather ect, the water pump failed so I left it at a mates place and someone stole the key, the ignition the key goes into and the ECU from under bonnet infront of driver so I need to replace those parts and need to know what other parts I need to get with them from wrecked one so I can once again start my beloved car that I had on road less then 2days .. I know if I get the right bits of other car that match then I can avoid trip to dealer and prob save having to part out my dream car Thank you in advance to all who reply,, have included pic just to show it off and confirm type cheers

 

Welcome, you are right with the car type, since you have the non Kompressor version at least the engine will be more reliable.(M111 vs M271).
Suspect you’ll need to find a ‘local’ reliable breakers and quote your Vin number to get the right parts

All cars I can find parting out are interstate but can't tell me if I only need key, ignition and ecu or if there's other modules I need get with it E.g.. Holden need bcm also..
I have been trying for 7months to find mechanic or expert that can give info I need and everyone keeps trying say different answers, I am tq mechanic so I know if I get the matching key, module and ecu al o nd with any other matching module or control units I need of same year c180 it will work just need know what bits need to match so I can order them... thanks
Ps. I bought thinking it was kompressor but happy to hear mine is better motor cause I was shattered when car deliver and I open bonnet to find no charger even though ad said kompressor

 

I've been told there's a update front that fits them so hope to eventually fit that, and find amg body kit and hopefully find way to update sound system so it will take usb or even better GPS screen style like in later models

 

There were 2 x engines the C180K with M271 engine (Kompressor = Supercharger) at 1796cc and the C180 with M111 engine standard at 1984cc , might be worth double checking your vin to see what it says. I was going along with you when you said there was no charger...

There's definitely no charger I bought it online and was assured it was a kompressor sadly when it arrived it was not and there seems to be verry few of the non supercharged ones around or being parted out... I am sorry if I was confusing in my reply but yeah 100% it is a c180 coupe 2001 thanks
