High mileage c class

First of all my apologies for the constant newbie questions , i do look about the site to find the answers but sometimes to no avail. I like to know as much as possible about a car before buying one especially if I've not dealt with the particular make .
Would is considered to be "high" mileage for a merc diesel ?
I've found a 2012 plate c350 cdi on 112k , it has full MBSH , how safe generally would it be to buy one with this mileage ?
Also , Figures show 47mpg , I know it depends on the kind of driving style , roads used etc but is this even close to being achievable ?

My S204 '13 C250 CDI 4matic with 221k miles still drives like new.

it's averaged 14k a year, no big deal, especially with the full history

I’ve got a prefacelift c350 with 147k it averages 30-35mpg normally 25mpg towing and up to 42mpg on a long run.

I have a 2011 E350CDI & over the last 8 years its never been lower that 48MPG over the year.
No grand prix starts & very little town driving, but lots of miles at 80mph round Europe except this year.
The 642 post 2010 engine seems to be a fairly sorted engine, I have only had one minor problem the turbo boost sensor oil seal.

The E350CDI's are surprisingly economic, a run in Germany a couple of years back. About half autobahn, half main road.

Hi mileage on a merc is not an issue esp wrt to a oil burner, maintenace is the key like anything.

Thankyou all so much for your help . Ive contacted so so many dealers with interest in a car but all have sold either the day before my call or on the day . So I've decided to go for a c220cdi at my local dealers who have very good reviews and many of my friends have bought from them . So for once I've listened to my head rather than my heart and had a good vibe about this particular car so I ge to pick this beauty up tomorrow . went for a test drive today and having never driven a merc or even an auto in my life other than the trucks at work we just clicked . She is an AMG sport plus on 102k but has a good history , most from merc . Body is pretty much factory condition , not even one scratch on her or the wheels , everything works perfectly and certainly not as noisy as some make out the engines to be
