Highest fuel total cost you’ve put in your Mercedes ?

That's pretty much what I do with the R class.
Standard supermarket diesel with Archoil 6900 additive. Not cheap at £24 per litre but it does 1000 litres so works out at 2.4p per litre - much cheaper than posh diesel.

Can you see any noticeable difference? Have been thinking of using an additive.

I've just ordered some Archoil 6900. Thanks for the info.
This will be my new plan too. Between the Archoil and a dose of BG 245 every 6 months everything should be at maximum efficiency and a lower cost compared to Shell V Power diesel at around £180 a tank full!!!!!

I have decided at these prices I just cannot justify using V Power anymore, so will be using standard Asda petrol for the foreseeable future.
I say this in the hope that fuel costs will eventually come back down again...but I really wouldn't bet on it.

I used to occasionally give mine a tankful of the posh stuff but I really have never noticed any difference to performance or economy over 95E10

£142.50 standard Shell Diesel in my S211, 80ltr tank @199.9. Still a bit of room for some Cetane.

Haven’t filled as I have no need but usually shove about 1/2 to 3/4 a tank in and when I did earlier this it was £2.19 for vpower diesel.

After my pay rise I was able to put £50.05p in the Money Pit, brought the level to 1/2 fill, 4 days travel and still have 1/4 tank left. Paid day for me tomorrow, get in

I went to Asda yesterday with around 1/4 of a tank. Put my £99 in (pay at pump) and as there was nobody behind me I thought I'd brim it. So ... put my card back in to start again. It wouldnt let me.

When I bought my car last August, the £99 limit just about saw me OK. Now I need them to raise the limit to £150...

I always pay in the kiosk, a little walk is good for you.

Probably habit from the days of fuel card, fill on way out, buy triple marathon for breakfast, on way back fill again, another triple marathon for dinner
