Filled up today from 20 miles left in the tank and paid £113 for the demons fuel ! Only a 65ltr tank tho, but what’s the highest total you put in so far ?

Lol! According to the datacard, my ML has the extra long range tank. Filled it the other day from quite low, but the light wasn’t on. £145

Mine has a 80Ltr so in theory £132, locally the pumps cut off at £100 but I never get that low.
Five weeks time will be my next fill up in Luxembourg on my way to Bavaria, currently about £1.55.
Diesel in Germany is about the same price as UK now, but the price of fuel varies during the day according to demand.
Early morning is the cheapest.

Mine is 80l litre tank so at local fuel station prices theoretically £145 from empty.
Most so far is £130.
Unfortunately the fuel light is on and it's going to France soon ....

Yes I know. Our normal refuel is Rouen - 340 miles into 700 miles door to door.

I tend to pay at pump so am restricted to 'only' £99 ..... trouble is, from empty/low fuel light, it only fills it to around 3/4 tank

Can do better
I stopped at £120 (Momentum) when on reserve. Could have squeezed in a bit more, but I believe £140 should fill it from empty to full.

I just put £99 in from nearly empty in the 221, took it to exactly 3/4 tank!

Blimey guys, £60 is the most I can put in mine, can't put anymore in that's all the Missus gives me each week

£30 normally as and when required. I gave up brimming it and slogging all that weight about . Only fill up if travelling long range ,which isn't often . Last fill £ 85 went to 3/4 full .

Sometimes I feel so weak I just want to explode, explode and tear this whole town apart.

Makes me so ****** cross. Years ago not long after college I estimated my entire tax to the UK gov, including duty on petrol, cigarettes, a hectic social life in the bars, council tax, VAT and so on. I think I came to the conclusion that out of my salary I got about 17% of it after all the tax paid out.

I miss my old Land Rover FC101 (with its 18mpg on a good day) but I don't miss filling it up.
108 litre fuel tank - £177 at today's prices!

Most I ever put in was £120 but that was over 10 years ago!

Ditto - I have a 75L tank in mine & only use V-Power or equivalent.

Reminds me of the 80s with petrol shortages and I had a Granada with a 100L fuel tank. Needed a 2nd mortgage to fill up.
