Today while i was checking why my brake lights had stoped working(turned out to be the brakelight switch, which just needed adjustment)i noticed that the relay at the, rear, left of the fusebox was very hot!!!!! Is this normal?? Can anyone tell me what the relay is for?? Also when i unpluged and plugged it back in, it clicked. So it seems to have power all the time even when the ignition is off. The only thing on the car that isnt working as it should is the kickdown switch, does this have a relay? And could it be the one in question??
Any info would be much apreciated.
Oh yes, the car is a 1990 190e 2.0L btw.
Cheers, Stu
