How do l turn off the satnav Comand 'voice'?

Got a 2004 SL55 AMG with Comand DX 2 (l think?) and l'd like to turn off the 'voice' when using satnav and just have the map, etc

lf l mute the sound then l obviously also lose the radio/CD. l've found the setting which allows the 'voice' to be quieter but l don't want it on at all.

Any ideas/advice?

almost sure that if you keep mute held down for a few seconds it turns off the sat nav voice only and then you can listen to cd-radio once it has been released

Jon above is spot on,,just hold the mute button down for more than 2 seconds during a voice output, (when she is talking)

As the above 2 say; hold the mute button for 2 secs as "SWMBO" is talking and you should get a beep responce and a message on screen to say " voice output muted"
