how do you reset the factory interval for service yourself?

Hi all, i have a 2002 E220 cdi. I have just serviced it myself but how do i reset the factory interval for service myself? I did get this information from the Autodate book, and now i have lost it.
Can you please help - Thanks in advance

Have you got your owners handbook? how to do it is in there, but to quickly summarize, turn the ignition on, you then use the steering wheel buttons to show the service "spanner", you then press and hold the reset button on the left of the dashboard, the same one you reset the trip with, the screen will ask you to confirm and you then press the reset again, thats how you do it on an 03 plate C class, but I can see you have got an E class...I must wear my glasses!!!

With my W203 and ASSYST there's a hidden menu where the start countdown point varies dependent on the quality of oil used and set.

Have a search for "hidden menu" on the forum and see if it works for yours.
