how far will keyless go go

just out of interest if i start the car with keyless go and drive of without the key will the car cut out when out of the range of the key?

I have tried this and they will go a long way, and many miles.

O started mine yesterday and left it running and walked down the road well out of range and it stayed running

Start the car - take out the key batteries and drive !!!!!

I had a breakdown once when i was with mobilo, guy started his S500 at home in southampton and drove to winchester, it cut out at a set of lights, when i asked him where the keys where, he didnt no, turned out, he started the car, dropped the key on his drive way, the car cut out once it had tried to "find " the key so many times!!!!

you would have thought it would be closer, my brothers lexus cuts out about 50ft from key
