I have it on ebay but am not getting much response, is there anywhere you would recommend?

hi, you should definately put it in 2 other places apart form Ebay: Pistonheads (its free, and also very well followed. I've sold a number of cars privately via PH), and autotrader (intenet only). If u need a relatively quick sale, then the only way really is to undercut what else is around, so trawl thru the ads, and you'll see where the pricing is. I sold my E55 and this week a golf R32 this way, both within 24hrs (both via Pheads as it happens).

I have never used pistonheads but autotrader is worth a go. Local paper?

As was said above, if you want to sell quick you will have to undercut others available.

oh god, its still not sold.......... and the assyst has just started showing 28 days till service. What do you think is a 'cheap' price that will get it sold? or is it the wrong time of year?

This is not the best time of the year but they do still sell, A too cheap price does not always help

Hi, just managed to sell my slk (even tho the weather has changed for the worst!!) but the problem you will probably get is that at £16k you are still being undercut by lots of other sellers on autotrader (the number one place people look). even the traders are going down to £15500 for the 53 plates.

If a quick sale is what you want you may need to rethink the price. I had to undercut the rest by £300.

Thanks for that i will check again, most that i saw were up at just under 17k, with more mileage, will defo go look though

I'd maybe think about the background in some of the pictures.

Take the car out and take some shots that don't show the car parked by the side of a road. Sitting where it is kind of gives the impression that it's parked outside in all weathers which I guess may not be the case. Is it garaged at night? Add that information if so.

Looks in good condition though and you seem sad to be letting it go ... So would I be! (I read your response on eBay questions)
