Bikes, Bikes and more Bikes, from 16 years of age (moped really, Yamaha SS50) up to 2 years ago, Triumph Speed Triple, hence user name, 38 years. I didn't pass my car test till I was 21, just didn't want a car. My first car was a Hillman Hunter GLS with a Holbay engine, but still had bikes.

I always loved jags but liked Mercs as well, Now that jags don't look like jags anymore, I prefer the mercs.
Ok my sport in black with blacked out rear windows looks a little "gangsta" for a man of my age, but then you don't want to look like everyone else on the road do you ?

Since I got mine about 10 months ago a 29yo friend has become a convert, he now has an older Eclass himself and an older C class for the misses

31 when bought my e320 cdi. Than I rang my insurance to transfer my policy. After giving all the details of the car I was told that they can't insure me on it. So I asked why?
I was told I was to young to drive a Mercedes

Tooo young ? Tesco bank accepted me on my w211 270 without a question .. funny how insurance works
Cheaper on the merc than my 1.8 corsa but the heavy fuel bill hurts lol

It was octagon if I remember well that said I was to young. So I moved my policy elsewhere.
I'm very happy with mine fuel wise ;-)

I'm an avid poster and staff on an Astra forum and my friends thought it was hilarious that I've bought 'an old mans car', however after they saw it, and saw that it doesn't have any dodgy walnut trim or cream leather I think I may have a few converted

Also it turns out it's cheaper to insure the Benz than it is for the Astra

I liked the light coloured leather in my Jag, but it had black top of the dash steering wheel and center console, and black carpets and the door panels were two tone, although it was sand and not cream and the wood was dyed dark as well
