how to adjust the door

when i close the drivers door softly it will latch but not fully close unless you push harder

it seems to be catching on the plug bit (want for a better word) as it has some marks on the top

the joints seem fine and have no play ie door wont move up or down open or nearly closed

is it a simple tighten up or does it go a bit deeper than that

so its a matter of loosening it and the move then tighten or not

Those plate are often on serrated groves, you do not want to upset the height of it, so just put a piece of tape top and bottom on the B pillar, loosen the screws and bring it back one notch and tighten, and try that
