So I have seen many threads on this topic but no pics, so as mine needed doing again I thought I'd make a sort of how to...

First, I'd recommend putting the heater controls in a uniform setting ie both vertical. You'll need a pair of mole grips and a somewhat clean cloth. Secondly, make sure you have the correct bulbs. I got 0.5w ones by mistake so I had to go back and change them, should have been 1.2w.You'll also need a straw...not a fat mcdonalds one, just a normal slim one...the one on the left of the straw pic, pictures explained...
...

One shows some of the tools you'll need...a decent cloth preferably cotton as it doesn't slip nor damage the knobs.

One is how you want to place your cloth...mine was folded over so 2 layers to prevent any damage.

One shows how to get the mole grips into place over the heater control knob with cloth over the heater knob, and squeeze firmly...too tight and you'll damage the knob. Then pull back to remove the knob.

One is the knob itself.

One is the position of the bulb. This is mirrored on the other side .

One shows how to Maneuver the straw carefully behind the small white plastic flap and onto the bulb...push gently and the bulb should get snugly stuck into the end of the the straw...then pull it out.

Fitting is reverse of removal, however it may be an idea just to turn the lights on and check they work 100%..

Hope this helps.

H.
