rhs, (driver's side/offside) looking from the front, at the back of the engine bay, near the firewall and brake servo drum. Red, with a safety catch on it.
Run the the engine to normal temp, use all the gears, then pop it in P and check the level with the engine idling. The fluid should be clear and pinky, so clear you can hardly see it somtimes just after a change. It should smell fresh and not burned or gummy.
