Have a w123 300d and I've had problems with the fuel lines blocking.
I've drained all of the fuel out of it, and a load of sludge has come with this, I've replaced all of the filters as well. I've removed the fuel lines out of the bottom of the tank as well. (What is the third for? return line, fuel line and ...)
However, I want to clean out the tank properly as I assume that there is still sludge in there.
What is the best thing to clean the tank out with and how do I do it? Do I need to take the tank out as it looks rather awkward to do with the filler pipe being welded on to the tank.
Thanks in advance
