None at the monent, but there's an OM642 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
Hi Guys,

I've read a few articles which seem to imply that the W124's sunroof can prove troublesome over time. The one on my '93 280E still glides quietly and promptly, and I'd like to keep it that way! The car doesn't have air-con, so the roof gets a fair bit of use - which may help, I guess.

Any pointers in that direction? What needs lubrication, and with what?

Thanks.

The PTFE and Silicon lubricants are clean and they do not dry. used on all of the slides and moving parts they are one of the best things to come along.

PTFE can be got from all good tool shops and Scewfix

I agree that the best thing to do is to use the roof as much as possible

There is a specific lubricant available from MB for the sunroof
