Remove the radio and press the tab each side just under where the radio hole at the top,,and it slides out

Northcave,
from memory you have to remove the radio and cage if fitted.
there are two lugs that have to be prised down (gently) whilst pushing behind the heater control unit.
you will see these two lugs in the upper opening when the radio has been removed.
