How to Remove Heater Control Unit?

My control unit has died and I need to get it out. Could some advise on this please. It is a 300sl 129. (12v)

Remove the radio and press the tab each side just under where the radio hole at the top,,and it slides out

from memory you have to remove the radio and cage if fitted.

there are two lugs that have to be prised down (gently) whilst pushing behind the heater control unit.

you will see these two lugs in the upper opening when the radio has been removed.:D
