Aviva won’t insure me! The car with me driving it doesn’t fit their business profile!:oops:
Tesco, on the other hand, will insure me for £400

Try Hastings through a compare site

We've had good insurance from NFU if you fancy shopping around.

Is there anything that looks untoward to the experts here please?
I’m not certain about the privacy glass and I don’t think I like the leather. It looks like a big-box store leather. The spec says it is leather but I’m not inspired by it. The SL seats were much more classy.
It has everything else I want. Airmatic, Distronic etc and it’s certainly the right colour.

Looks nice, good spec. Not a fan of the seats - but that's me and it's not for me

Yes. I’ve already decided I don’t like the seats. I was willing to compromise on the interior colour to get everything else I wanted (it is a big spec) but those just aren’t for me :(
I’ve just rung and told them I don’t want it.

I have to say the way AC have dealt with the whole thing is very Professional and impressive. :)

Back to square one!

I like both the dark privacy glass & the leather. :) A very nice car

..... Arnold Clark don't/didn't have a particular good reputation. There are very many tales of gloom on the web.

What other seat options were there?
It’s a used car so I have to take what I get. I really want cream leather but finding it on a 350 W218 with all the options I want too is proving very difficult. White or parchment will be ok I think. There will be one out there...

They were artico, the bloke did say it as he went in the back of the car.
It’s not but there is one more option I would have wanted, multi contour seats, the standard ones are okay but not as good as the 211’s in my mind

A brave man wanting a light coloured interior ... especially in an estate a shooting brake! ;)

I really wanted a CLS shooting brake instead of the ML I ended up with, but they wasn't really heavy enough to tow our twin axle caravan :(

The only thing I don't like about that is the wood trim

I don't think we would have lived with that colour trim, either. Just flat inside...
Another one with porcelain leather (but not airmatic) sold in a matter of days the week before last.

Aaaargh! I missed it? Ah, not Airmatic though. It would have missed my radar.
