i just bought a T reg S500 2day

hi ppl am new to this just got a few things 2 ask or know sorry if its ben answerd be4 i just bought a S500 and i was playing arond with it in settings etc.. and i came acros to fold door mirrors i selected on but when i lock the car they not closing so is there something am doing wrong or colud it be a fulty??

As far as I know auto fold when locking was not available until the face lift model in late 2002.

No the W140 S class does not fold the mirrors automaticially when the car is locked.

Should you require any spare parts for your S500 then speak to Carl www.w140.co.uk

He breaks the W140 and many parts available and he is more than helpful on the tecky stuff to.

Sorry my mistake for some reason had it my head it was a W140!!!!

If the mirrors fold from the switch then its probable the auto folding from the fob can be activated through Star.

Beside being married to a mate, poor chap, I can't create a polite response to demonstate why such an opportunity missed is not regrettable.

I would have thought as much, my garage have had it on Star and still cannot activate auto folding
