Identify Post Facelift (2006) Models

Hi All,

I understand there is something about the headlight that gives away whether the car is post or pre the 2006 facelift. Can anyone point me at any pictures that demonstrate the difference please?

If you mean E class, the easiest way to tell is whether the middle of the front bumper is slightly pointed (facelift) or just curved (pre-facelift)

Yes - sorry. I did mean E-Class, estate, diesel, would prefer a larger engine.
My car budget is such that i am probably looking at circa 2006 model, especially if I buy from a franchise and I am just browsing the net at the moment and would like to able to tell if the 2006 model i am looking is post facelift or not.

And at the rear a facelift has a full width LED brake light (estate) or full width chrome strip (saloon)
