idle rate on w202

Is there some way of increasing the idle rate on a w202 c class year 2000(w reg) when stationary the revs are really low

I'm going to Cannes from Glasgow tomorrow in a C43 that i've owned for the past four years, when i come back next week i will be selling it as i've got a company car coming. could anyone tell me how much it's worth as i don't have a clue of it's valuation?..it's a 98 on a S plate with f.s.h (vivanite green) and 102k, it cost 62k new.

do any of you knowledgeable gentlemen or ladies(dont want to be accused of being sexist) know if my car has an idle air valve or a control circuit which would influence the idle rate? thanks

if you locate the accelerator cable inside the engine bay, there is a black adjuster near where the acelerator cable joins to the engine, twist it one way (anti clockwise) and the idle rate falls and twist it the other way and the idle rate increases, have you tried this ? (very simple)

look at the attached photo of my w202 (Left hand drive) for the location of this
