No contact is made. You only need give an email address, no phone numbers.
I've had about 6 valuations on the same car. Nobody has contacted me.
They're asking for phone numbers now, not optional anymore.

Give 'em a false one.
You'll still get a valuation.

Edit, if you have had a previous valuation and sign in no phone numbers are asked for.

Got my latest valuation just now.

Most drivers of the high end cars get bored very easily and attracted to the latest shiny shiny… gives a nice ready supply of barely used cars for the rest of us…;):p:cool:

Sold - 2021 CLA 35 Premium.
I paid £44,450 for my car on 30 November 2021 and it has been sitting at £41k for a while whenever I checked it (most recent was 7th July), but when I checked again right now it is up to £42,420.
The good thing about about any webuyanycar valuation I get is that there is absolutely nothing they could find to reduce the online valuation even if they went over it with a magnifying glass. :p
I am not thinking of selling though.

I think high prices are here to stay as new car supply won’t be what it was and new cars will deliberately be made in lesser numbers to manipulate prices of new vehicles and in turn used cars.

From what I read, many used cars are better equipped than new ones because manufacturers can’t get the chips and are reducing options.

Agreed, can’t get the intelligent LED lights in new BM bikes now, or trackers…

Well, just sold my SLK by auction after 14 happy years of ownership. It was a great drive and I know I shall miss it, but with six cars and fuel at ludicrous levels something had to go and the SLK drew the short straw. It had become an expensive luxury for less than a thousand miles a year of fun. I hope the next owner treats it with respect - it'll give him/her many more years of really enjoyable motoring if he/she does.
All the best to all you other Mercedes owners, I've always found this a friendly, helpful and informative forum. Au revoir.

Dreaming of a CL55k - one day maybe....
Prices peaked around Nov / Dec last year - they dropped sharply (although are still well above this time last year) and have now levelled out. They are dropping now, but very very slowly - 2 - 3 year old cars are dropping by as little as £50 a month whereas usually it would be more like £200 - £250 a month....

If the supply problems continue, I think the prices will pretty much hold firm this year, maybe even go back up a tiny bit.

But are there still not fields of new or at least nearly new dotted all over old airfields and racing circuits (such as Rockingham)

Is this a managed supply issue to inflate prices (at least in part)?
