C220 is my 7th BENZ series. The security system switches off the engine and I was told the ignition system is faulty. What can I do to fix it? I want the security system removed so that I will have peace of mind but I was told it is coded with the ignition, keys etc. Sometimes it goes off on highway, and it works after 1, 2 or three hours. The green and red security light come up at the same time when you try to power on the engine.
