Me too please ;)

The official install leaflet for the w204 I believe depends on a 'black box'. Effectively a can-bus reader and relay. However there MUST be a door open / close switch somewhere. We suspect its on one of the hinges.
I've been working on some designs for after-market sills for the w204 with another member to replace the rather tacky tins MB shamefully supplies. Unfortunately the cost of laser cutting and supply of SS alone has made them prohibitive for most, being nearly fifty pound each even when ordered in bulk. There are other options to consider, which I am.

There are, but I stopped printing off on the third paper, I will do it later in the day and send it on to you, things have changed since have the wires in the kick panels

It is just an expression as I print them to a USB stick, well over 4000 things on these that I have sent off over the years :D

I do not use my other computer on line, for the programs are far to valuable to me, The worst thing is I have to unplug the USB's when starting up as the new computer tries to boot from the USB

that's easy to fix. Boot into BIOS. (f2 or f10 usually) and select boot order, and change it so then C drive is first. Many pcs' even have a legacy floppy drive listed as 1st still.

On many cars like the CL's and SL's they have micro switches built into the door locks, same as on the rear doors of 124 and 211 estates

Oh no. never suspected that. Wonder if its still a switch that's grounded or not. Otherwise makes things more difficult.
