Not been on the forum for ages since I gave my A Class to my daughter. BUT... I'm just getting a 2007 B class now! I think my A Class was a W169? (Mk2, 2006) and I think the B class is a W245?? It's a Sport and I would welcome thoughts and info about the suspension - is it a lot firmer than the SE spec and what is the 'comfort' suspension I've read about? Could I change the sport suspension to the comfort one? Many thanks!

Welcome back. The B Class is not known for being a sporty car so I doubt whether the suspension is ever going to be that hard, I think it is the only model that they have never taken to a full AMG.

Welcome back!

If the car is a sport model it generally means the suspension has been firmed up and in all likelihood you will have lower profile tyres to make the handling a bit sharper. You might be able to change to a smaller wheel size depending on what’s fitted increasing the sidewall size to provide a bit more comfort other than that it’s different springs and dampers to achieve a more comfortable ride

What tyres does it have on it ? (E.g. 285/30 ZR19)

Moving to a higher profile tyre can make a big difference to ride quality.

I have just switched to Michelins, which are a lot nicer than the old continentals, which were well past their best.

Hello mate,
w245 comes in sport or comfort undercarriage. Sport is so uncomfortable and if tires are 17" or even 18" big trouble for kidneys.
I have w245 with comfort and 18" tires and not bad.
