Hi, I’ve got a late W124 coupe, P-reg with the red/green lights on the drivers door and boot (nothing on the mirror) and it is immobilised. I’ve changed the batteries, tried the fob synch, disconnected the car battery for 10mins etc but its still immobilised.

I've found the immobilisor under the passenger foot panel, but there is no key etc on it to deactivate.

Any thoughts ?

Much appreciated.

Do check the key with a digital camera first

Please explain ? The remote operates the CL fine, just does not flash the indicators like it used to and deactivate the immobiliser. Sorry I do not understand what you mean re the digital camera. Ta.

I'd bypass the ATA / immobiliser until you can resolve the problem. You'll need a wiring diagram to show you which pins to link on the plug

I'm guessing with the camera bit Television means infra red shows up as a light when you transmit to a camera (ie cctv camera or camcorder, digi camera etc).

Sorry, can't help you with the other bit though!
