i have a c 220 diesel .ihave problems with imobiliser i am on my second interior mirror i press key fob car opens but wont start.anybody know how to disarm imobiliser. sometimes i disconect battery and it comes ok now it has totally given up help???????

Immobiliser

Hi Landrover,

What did you do to your int mirror ?. I,d like to find out how the immobiliser works, i.e. does it just prevent the starter from operating, or does it do something to the pump. Would be good to know how it works, just in case it fails.
