Importing a Sprinter

I think that I would like to import a new sprinter van for myself, combining the collection with a short break perhaps....But I really do not know where to start looking,
Is it possible to order one direct from Mercedes? If so how can I contact them?
Are there any English speaking continental dealers worth contacting?
Is there a saving to be made for going to the trouble?
I know I ask far too many questions for a newcomer to this forum...But hey what are forum's for if not for asking far too many questions of complete strangers!!!

For importing a vehicle into this country obtain the following booklet "How to Import a Vehicle Permanently into Great Britain" from the Department of Environment & Transport - which includes info on Motorcycles, Heavy Goods Vehicles (ie over 3.5T) and Buses & Coaches.

The booklet which has over 20 pages gives other useful addresses.

Waste of time importing a sprinter from abroad.
Yes they will be cheaper & may even come with exclusive features which the british models wont have.

You loose one years warrenty and some pf the parts may not be abtainable.
