Right Guys,I want to install a fridge into my car, any ideas where to get one? I will prefer one that will be installed/fixed into the boot so it looks like OEM and will not move. I do not want one of those portable ones.

A fridge in the boot with access through the rear armrest will be perfect

Be at what cost can this be done at?

Can you point me in the right direction please

Regards

S

PS I dont have split fold rear seat, if that makes a difference

There is a rear fusebox 12volt that you could tap into

Good point Malcolm - actually thinking about it, the battery's in the boot too - Doh!
It would still be an after market installation though - will be tricky to come up with a factory style installation as I don't think such a thing exists, even from the factory.

I have never seen one either worth buying plus the battery consumption is quite high, unless there is something made for Doctors where things like Insulin must be kept cool

In my 2001 e-class. the armrest contained a direct vent from the aircon which made it most fridge-like.

Imagine my dismay when my new e-class contained no such feature, and moreover the armrest won't even hold one bottle of Diet Coke! (the old one held 4)

Has anyone found a suitable fridge or coolbox for the e-class?

I so need cold cola.........

Tell me about it !!!
The W210 armrest was much better than the two compartment version in the W211.

Fridge in boot was an optional extra in the W140 range of cars - perhaps still available.

See Russian site for details.
