I need to get my car booked in for MOT and servicing next month. Can anyone recommend a good garage in Glasgow?

Hi,

Theres a Merc specialist in Renfrew, just along the King's Inch Road from Breahead. It's called Silver Star or something. Doesn't look up to much but they know their stuff. In Clydebank you've got Hart Motors, but you'll need to book in advance as I tried to book mine in a couple of months ago for it's MOT and was told I'd have to wait 3 weeks. I did notice though that they charge £45 for the MOT. I'm sure it's illegal to charge more than the standard £39 for that.

It's Silver Star, 1, London Street, Renfrew. Tel 0141-8863699. Ask for Joe or Tom. They know their stuff. Did my W202 and W210 with them. Good rates as well.
