Hi there! I have just taken delivery of a '04 C200 and all i can say is why did i wait so long to get a MB! It's absolutely FANTASTIC! 
This is my first Merc and I'm worried about maintenance costs so here's 2 quick questions that i hope all you experts can help me with:
1) Does any one know of any decent and trustworthy independent Mercedes garages in the South East London area, namely Rotherhithe, Southwark or even in East London just across the water maybe? Poplar etc.
I have rung round a few places but without visiting them or getting recommendations i feel a bit lost!
2) Do pple think that 'Extended Warranties' are good value for money? i know it boils down to what is covered but just as a general thought, particularly with regards to Merc's? To me they're solid cars that if treated with respect and maintained properly should not really need the use of a Warranty?
I'm getting a 3 year deal that seems to be covering all the major things for about 900quid frm the garage that i got the car frm.
