I own a w210 300TD 1998 cars run like a dream since new it’s never given me any trouble up until a few days ago. I recently went down to Scotland the car never missed a beat took me there and back 650 – 700 miles covered, came to start the car and it would crank over but wouldn’t start, got onto prestige car services explained the symptoms and Oliver told me exactly what he though the problem was, “air in the fuel lines which could be caused by a number of seal or pipes splitting causing a leak”, told me how I could get it started, cleaned and find out exactly where the leak was.

Now I don’t trust garages so when I had a problem with my car I started calling up various garages and you will not believe the stuff the said was wrong with my car, I guess the point I want to make here is Oliver is a genuine guy who knows that if the customer is happy with his job they will return and recommend others plus the customers will value his honesty.

The guy is a top bloke absolute gentleman who knows his job very well, not out to make a quick buck like some we know….car was up and running in 2 hours, the leak was from the IP fuel cut off solenoid all seals, pipes + filters where changed so that the problems should not return in the near future, hopefully another 10yrs trouble free running.

Resurrecting an old thread about Merc specialists, but can anyone recommend one in the Peterborough area? For older Mercs, W123's specifically?

I need front suspension ball joints, and a knowledgeable opinion on how far gone the steering box is, how far it can be adjusted etc.....
