Independent servicing South Wales/West

Hi,
Can anybody recommend an independent MB specialist in South Wales/ West Country to carry out a service on my Mum's 2002 C180K Coupe?
Its just coming up to 3 yrs old with 20K miles and she has balked at the local main stealers quote of £423 plus parts to service it !

I have used them for a routine service of my SLK, replacement of ball joints, steering damper and gearbox control module.

The outfit is not glamorous to look at but they can diagnose and fix problems and are helpful and straightforward to deal with.

Hi you don't say exactly where you are but if you are in the south west of Wales there is a mercedes trained mechanic, ex service manager in Pembrokeshire who is very good his name is Kieron Phelan Tel;07900 582902 who is now working on his own after the garage that he was in closed down.

Out of interest, where is this place? My girlfriend lives there so I know the area. Worth bearing in mind if something goes pear shaped while I'm in the area!

The garage that you refer to is at the moment situated in TEMPLETON about 6 miles north of Tenby. although he has told me that he will be moving to MILTON which is on the A477 between Sageston and Pembroke Dock. this move is expected to take place within the next 4 - 5 weeks, his mobile No; will remain, but I expect that his landline No; will change. I will let you know when this happens if you wish.

Came across a specialist MB service place, just north of Cardiff. I've yet to try him, but from other threads he seems to be ok. I havent owned a MB for long, so I will be taking my car there for the first time in the next few months to test him out.

Hi. There is a good one in Pontypridd. Recomended by the guy from Kings Cars. I shall try and find the number as soon as I can.

hi im new to this but i couldnt help noticing the below kings cars link,i used to use kings before the owner sadly passed away and they closed,i the tried a few so called mb speciallists in and around cardiff,eventually i came across continental cars via the good garage scheme,i can only praise this garage,they have been nothing short of brilliant and i have always been pleased on all levels,also to boot the owner was trained on mercs by none other than the owner of kings cars,so highly recommended to all of you fellow merc owners out there....
