Indicators keep going out on my slk 230, fuses are not blown, have to take the fuses out and then back in, sometimes that works and sometimes not. Tried many different fuses. Anyone have any ideas?

Indicators run through PSE pump which is in the OS of boot in a foam "case". If the boot has a water leak, this foam gets wet & couses problems.

Welcome to the forum, your car as Type49 says will have water in the PSE pump, there is a mod to turn it upside down

As Malcolm says the best solution is to turn the PSE pump upside down - you will need to extend the vacuum lines to do this (I intend doing this mod on my wife's car this winter).

If you don't want the hassle of the mod maybe this will help.........;);)

Or you can carry out the complete "mod" and turn the PSE upside down as explained in the link above.

Today I purchased a metre of 6mm (OD) nylon pipe from these people, they have agents all over the country, just type in your post code ;)
