Hi,

My MB injector needs replacement, so I bought a second hand one, but the last 4 digit of the part number does not match. the mechanic says it may damage the engine. is that true.

Some please advise me on this ASAP.

Could have a different spray pattern or could inject later than the original (spring pressure greater). Stick with the correct part or you could end up with a mis-fuel even if it looks the same externally.

Get a Bosch one from eurocar parts
